Overview

Raheem (beneyraheem.com) is a platform dedicated to reading and reflection. I believe in simple, ethical software. I do not show ads, I do not track your behavior for marketing purposes, and I never sell your data.

Data Collection

If you choose to sign in with Google, I collect your name, email address, and profile image URL. This information is used strictly to identify your account and personalize your experience.

Resource Data & Sync

When signed in, specific data related to the resources you use (such as bookmarks, reading positions, and display settings) is synced to the server so you can access it across different devices.

If you use the platform without signing in, resource data is stored only in your local browser storage. This data is not permanent and may be lost if you clear your browser data or change devices.

Cookies & Storage

I use small data files (cookies and local storage) only for essential functions: maintaining your authenticated session and remembering your UI preferences (like font size or theme).

Third Parties

I use Google for authentication. By using the sign-in feature, you are also subject toGoogle’s Privacy Policy.

Security

I take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, please be aware that no security system is perfect, and I cannot guarantee absolute security for data stored on the servers.
